Ron Cariño has been a non-profit Executive Director, Fund Development Specialist, and Grant Writer for 20 years. He has raised millions of dollars through various funding sources including foundation grants, government contracts, and corporate sponsors. As a Founder and Executive Director, Ron understands how funding is critical in ultimately achieving the organization’s goals and mission. With this lived experience, his approach to fund development stems from this perspective. He believes that this is a key difference between a grant writer and one that has built an organization through a successful contract and grant program. 

In 2018, Ron completed a 2-year Executive Director Fellowship with Leaderspring. In 2019, the organization that Ron founded, Soulciety, received the "Non-Profit of the Year" Award from California Senator Bob Wieckowski.
